A Backyard Oasis: Custom Pool & Spa Build in Casper, WY
Design Deep Dive: A Custom Backyard Oasis in Wyoming
As summer winds down in Wyoming, backyard memories are still fresh — poolside laughter, family barbecues, and long evenings spent outdoors. For a local Casper family, those moments will last year after year thanks to a custom-built in-ground pool and spa designed by Wyo Spas.
Rather than simply installing a pool, Wyo Spas helped create a true backyard oasis: a place for their children to play, friends to gather, and everyone to relax together.
From Vision to Reality
When the Casper family started planning their backyard, the goal wasn’t just a pool — it was a space where their kids would want to spend time and where the whole family could relax together.
“We wanted our backyard to be the place where our kids would want to hang out with their friends,” the family shared. “Something that felt safe, welcoming, and built for a family-fun time.”
Wyo Spas took that vision and brought it to life with a heated in-ground pool, complete with water features, plus the rare addition of an in-ground hot tub — a luxury not often seen in Wyoming.
Standout Design & Features
This project combined craftsmanship with creativity:
In-ground heated pool with custom fountains
Integrated in-ground hot tub, designed to flow seamlessly with the pool deck
Sealed custom concrete work, enhancing color depth and durability
A modern, geometric layout balanced with warm Southern California-inspired tones
The result is a backyard oasis that feels both one-of-a-kind and timeless.
Overcoming Challenges with Expertise
A project of this scale required careful coordination across plumbing, electrical, concrete, and landscaping. The Wyo Spas team worked hand-in-hand with trusted contractors to keep everything moving smoothly.
“Taking on a custom project like this means really listening to the homeowner and working as a team with other trades,” said Kyle Corley, owner of Wyo Spas. “It’s not just about building a pool — it’s about building a space families will treasure for years.”
And when a request for the rare addition of a fully in-ground hot tub, Wyo Spas delivered without hesitation.
The Family’s Reaction
The moment the family saw the finished project, it was clear the vision had come to life.
“The kids were so excited — it instantly became their favorite place to be,” said the Casper family. “We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Wyo Spas made it easy from start to finish.”
Why Now is the Time to Plan
While winter may feel like the “off season,” it’s actually the perfect time to design your dream pool. Planning ahead now means hitting the ground running in spring, with the possibility of enjoying your pool by summer. And thanks to Wyo Spas’ expertise, custom projects can be built year-round, weather permitting.
“Pools aren’t just about water and concrete — they’re about creating memories,” Kyle added. “That’s what we love most about our work.”
